Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke coachbuilding unit, has designed a distinctive keycase to mark the 100th anniversary of the company. It’s made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes the flying “B” paperweight keys, as well as a booklet featuring never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

Design

The Bentley Wings on the headrests and seats are embroidered with Centenary Gold, adding to the sense of celebration. Bentley estimates it takes approximately 500 man-hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. The inability to adopt modern technology is the main factor to this time-consuming effort. And rather than using the car’s built-in sensors guide it to parallel and perpendicular parking spots, drivers have to do it by hand.
