Door Handle Replacement

Removing the old Handle

Now, you can proceed to creating the new door strike plate for installation. Utilizing the wood screws that came with your new handles, screw the latch plate to the inside of the doorjamb. Be careful not to over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage to the strike plate.
If you are not sure whether the latch plate is in its proper position, close and open the door to check whether it locks and closes properly. If it does not, you will need to adjust the strikeplate up or down, forward or back until the upvc door locks and handles closes correctly.
If the door is moving or jiggling, it may be necessary to expand the latch hole in the strike plate. Remove the Latch

Remove the cover plate
